I bet you didn't know that companies made cases specifically for iBooks and Powerbooks. There are a few below, as well as some great iPod cases.  
WaterField Designs: Buy
Of the Highest Quality. I have seen the bags from WaterField in person, and I would have bought one for myself if I could have afforded one. Their laptop bags are spendy but you immediately know why when you see one. WaterField has many case lines also has iPod cases, iSight cases and gear pouches. Check them out for some quality goods.
Shawn Jackson Design: Buy

Multi-Purpose Case. I used to carry my laptop and its goodies around in a Shawn Jackson DataKeeper (but that was before my laptop was stolen). This bag has a CD holder, multiple zipper slots and a 3-ring binder. I was able to take all my goodies in one bag and didn't have to worry about carrying multiple things. The prices are quite reasonable too. Check out their many different bag options - there are some really unique solutions here.
MacCase: Buy
Functional Cases. MacCase has Binders, Cases, Backpacks, Messenger bags and sleeves. All of their products are attractive and seem to be well designed and assembled. I like the storage options in all of these bags and am especially attracted to the Mac Case Briefcase. Check these guys out when looking at everyone else, you might just find something here.
Acme Bags: Buy
Classy Cases. Acme has some really interesting and cool looking cases. They also make iMac covers, Studio Display covers, Powerbook screen covers and Apple keyboard covers. You can probably tell from the image to the right that the cases from Acme are fun. I encourage you to take a peek at what they have to offer.
MarWare Cases: Buy
iPods to Laptops. This company makes some pretty incredible products (yes, I seem to say that a lot). I've had a few of this company's products and can attest to their quality. I had one of their SportFolio cases when I first got my laptop but decided I needed a little more storage space, so I grabbed the Shawn Jackson. The SportFolio was soft and protected my laptop very well. I also own an iPod SportSuit, which protects our iPod 1000x better than the included case. Marware has many different types of cases: iPod, iPod Mini, Powerbook, iBook and more.
