| Okay, those people
who say there aren't any games for the Mac are full of it. The
bad games aren't made for the Mac, but usually the good ones are.
Here is a list of some of the best games available now. Your tastes
may vary, so ask
me.

| A Game
for Everyone. This is a great game for adults as well
as children. No blood, just good fun. There is an online
gameplay element to this game and there is even an adult filter
to turn off the messages other unsavory characters may send,
making this game completely G rated. I haven't seen too many
games that a just good fun like Think Tanks is. You run around
a field with other "enemy" tanks and you shoot cannon
balls at them to destroy them. When a tank is destroyed it just
flips over, nothing violent about that! This game is only $20
and has virtually endless game play. I feel it is worth every
penny. Get a copy! |

| Water Drop
Mayhem.
If you want to be addicted to a game, this is your next fix. The
idea behind Enigmo is surprisingly simple, but wonderfully executed.
All you need to do is get the water drops through the maze and
into the reservoir at the other end. Okay, the idea seems simple
enough, but this game is anything but simple. It takes strategy,
tenacity and concentration to get through this beautiful game.
I own a copy myself, and although my computer is used for work,
I frequently find myself distracted, playing Enigmo. I think
just about everyone would love this game.

| Voted
Macworld Best Game. Yes, gamer tastes vary, and this
one might not be for everyone. However, Macworld voted it Best
Game - that is saying something. Dungeon Siege is a real time
strategy game; meaning you are looking down, controlling your
characters, telling them everything you want them to do, in real
time (also called an RPG - role playing game). As you wreak vengeance
on an ancient evil you develop skills for your characters. Assemble
a band of eight heroes, or go it alone, all in a complete 3D
environment.

| Beautiful
Action Game. When this game was originally demoed at
Macworld Expo people couldn't wait to get their hands on it.
Between Macworld and the time the game was supposed to be released,
Microsoft bought the company and released the game for the XBox.
After a couple years waiting Halo is now on the Mac and it is
still GLORIOUS! A nearly perfect game! Macworld gives it 5 stars
- a perfect score. Halo is a first person shooter (from the 1st
person perspective). In Halo you are the last of your kind. Bred
for combat, built for war. You will fight on foot, in vehicles,
in the air and beneath the surface of a mysterious alien ring
orbiting in the depths of space. The only drawback of this game
are the high system requirements. Check them first to make sure
your Mac can run Halo. |

| Action
with Online Play. Unreal has been around for a while and has a huge following
throughout the world. This latest version adds some awesome new
battlefields. This new version also has new land, air and space
vehicles and an arsenal of new weaponry and new game modes. Don't
pick up a copy of Unreal Tournament expecting a plot, see Halo
for that. Unreal is a game where you combat others in the online
world, or alone (for practice) and do your best to destroy the
enemy. Unreal is in the first person shooter category and is one
of the greatest games to be released in the genre this year. Beautiful
graphics, expansive game play and violence. Awesome for some, others
will want to avoid this game. Get the demo if you aren't sure. |

| Realistic
Flight.
This game actually has FAA approval. X-Plane is used to train pilots
towards their COMMERCIAL CERTIFICATE, INSTRUMENT RATING, and AIRLINE
TRANSPORT
PILOT CERTIFICATE. This training is done in a full-motion simulator,
using X-Plane as the simulator software! What does this mean?
This means that this game is the most realistic flight simulator
you can find. It is incredible! The average gamer can still have
tons of fun with this incredibly detailed application but to really
take advantage of all the power you might want your hobby to include
a passion for flight. You can design your own scenery, create your
own airplane designs, or fly any of the 40 aircraft included. If
you are interested in flight, check this out! |
